I'm James Kendal Lindley, a senior frontend engineer | lead developer based in Todmorden, UK. Senior Frontend Engineer with 15+ years delivering ecommerce and high-traffic web platforms across React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.

My background started in graphic, web, and multimedia design before moving deeper into frontend engineering, ecommerce platforms, team leadership, and high-traffic production delivery. That mix still shapes how I work: visual clarity matters, but the implementation needs to be resilient, measurable, accessible, and maintainable.

I blend hands-on engineering, delivery leadership, UX thinking, and a design background to turn complex technical work into practical customer-facing outcomes.

How I help teams

I build React, TypeScript, and Next.js interfaces for ecommerce and production platforms, working across state, API integration, performance, accessibility, testing, and component systems. I've also led teams, mentored developers, and helped shape delivery workflows where the technical decisions affect commercial outcomes.

Current focus

Recently I've been expanding deeper into Advanced React, DevOps, AI, and Cybersecurity, then applying that learning directly to production delivery: shorter feedback loops, safer releases, better validation, and more deliberate frontend architecture.
